This is a 30s/40s style but could have been constructed mid century, they continued to make vintage styles for many years because of the demand and their experience . cortland corset company first came about in the late 1800s then after short period of great success new owners tool over . The cortland corset company name was reinstated in the 1920s and continued into the 2000's and was cortland foundations upon its closure. They made the 20s 30s 40s.and 50s styles up until this closure which makes this piece a rare historical find .
