And so are Jane Herman Bishop and Florence Kane, founders of the all-things-denim site Jean Stories. Clearly meant to devote herself to denim, Jane Herman Bishop started her fashion career selling jeans on the floor of legendary Los Angeles boutique Ron Herman (yes, she's one of those Hermans). At Vogue, she bonded with fellow writer and denim-obsessive Florence Kane, who later moved to Los Angeles to be a senior editor at C Magazine.
