This is a Large needle felted Bumble bee,this bee is approx 7cm long.Felted onto a small wire frame using black and yellow/gold corriedale wool, with some acrylic fiber. The extra detail of mandible and eyes have been created with black modelling clay, and the bee has been felted as if flying, and is threaded on fine clear thread. The wings are made from recycled clear plastic and have been hand scored and tinted. This little creation is not suitable as a toy,and should be kept away from children and animals as small parts could pose a choking hazard if swallowed. These bee's are made to order so each bee is slightly different,as none can be handmade exactly the same. Made originally as a custom project piece for another customer i thought these may appeal to others. Please message me if you require more than one to disscuss a reduction in postage.
