Using the finest grade, top grain Italian cowhide, these belts will age well, becoming more supple and comfortable over time. Traditionally finished with a polished beeswax edge. Made In Australia What size belt should I order? As a general rule of thumb the belt size you will require will be one size larger that your trouser waist size. So if you take a 38 inch, or in metric, 96 cm trousers you should order a 40 inch, or 102 cm belt. But the best way to ensure you order the right size is to measure the belt you have been wearing recently. All manufacturers make their belts slightly differently so it is important to measure the belt from the tip of the buckle to the hole you usually do it up to. Colonial Leather belts are made with seven holes for adjustment, placed approximately 1 inch, or 25mm apart. Our belt sizes are taken from the centre hole to the buckle tip allowing room for expansion and contraction of your waist line. Please note that larger belts can be made on request. PLEASE ensure that you have chosen the correct size. We're still happy to exchange your belt if you have the wrong size, but we find that the sizes can vary from different products and brands, so don't rely on their sizing if you can take measurements yourself.
