This Red Satin Overbust Corset Dress is available in all sizes for 20 to 40 inches, please select one around 4 to 6 inches less than your natural waist. The corset dress is laced at the back in the same way as our corsets. The corset is made with sprung steel boning and as hopefully you can see from the photo is made with a three layered skirt, long at the back sweeping up at the front. The longest layer at the back is around 24 inches long at the back and 8 inches long at the front. There's a Velcro panel at the top of the skirt complimenting the modesty panel of the corset part of the dress, so there's no gap at the back of the dress. Through chatting to our customers, we've discovered the biggest problem with online corset stores has been complications with finding the correct size. The amount by which your waist can be reduced depends on two things: the size of the corset, and how tightly you lace it. In order to work out the size of corset you need to order, firstly measure yourself around the waist. If your waist is narrower than your hips, measure it at the narrowest point. If it is not narrower, or there is no discernable difference, stand in front of a mirror and let your arms hang by your side, noting where your elbows fall on your body. Measure around your waist at this point - it should be roughly in line with your belly button. Once you have a figure for your waist size, simply deduct the amount by which you would like to reduce your waist to get the size of corset that you need to order. For decorative wear, you'll want to take off 3 or 4 inches, but for serious tight lacing, you might want to take off up to 6 inches!
