Cooks up to a nice strawberry-red colored sauce. Its natural sweetness requires less sugar than most varieties. A fine northern variety developed in Winnipeg, Canada. Rhubarb should be planted in the spring when the soil is tillable. Frost will not kill it. Don't harvest the first year from planting.
