Early pregnancy line on the stomach - Linea Nigra

The linea nigra, the pregnancy line on the stomach, runs from the pubic bone to the belly button. It can sometimes extend toward the breasts. It is about 1/4 and 1/2 inches wide. It can appear brown or light black in colour and is darker than the hue of the skin.
