Step 2

Place the color snap cover and the male button into the clamp tool with the teeth of the cover and the bottom of the button facing out as shown.

Step 3

Squeeze the handles to secure.

Step 4

Place the metal snap cover and the female button into the clamp tool with the teeth of the cover and the bottom of the button facing out as shown.

Step 5

Squeeze the handles once again to secure.

Step 6

Test the strength of the button by buttoning and unbuttoning the snap a few times.
